Worship at Immanuel Richton Park
You are invited
Have you just moved to the area and are looking for a new church to call home? Or perhaps you attend a church in the city and are looking for a place closer to home. Maybe you are someone who hasn't been to church in a long time...or maybe never at all.
Regardless of your church background, you are welcome to come and worship here.
We know how difficult can be to experience something new. Our Plan-A-Visit allows you the opportunity to learn about what to expect on a Sunday at Immanuel. Feel free to ask us any questions you may have about your upcoming visit. We want this to be a great experience for you!

Unpack the Bible Series
Sundays at 9am
Unpack the Bible is a whirlwind experience through the Bible in about a year. Each week worshippers are provided reading assignments in preparation for the next week. Pastor Bryan will take us through about a book a week...until we complete all 66 Books of the Bible.
Worship
Weekly worship Sundays at 9am
Easter Sunday: 10am worship with 9am breakfast
Worship with us inside or live online. Click the button below for more information specific to how you plan to worship.
"The rhythm of our worship is from Him to us, and then from us back to Him." Lutheran Service Book pg. 6
We use the liturgy from the Lutheran Service Book which is based on what God says to us in scripture. It's actually really beautiful and powerful.
Throughout the service all are invited to sing hymns and/or praise songs, grow as Pastor Bryan shares a message, and receive Holy Communion or a special blessing.

Worship Online with Live Stream
Weekly worship Sundays at 9am
Our media team makes it possible to attend worship with us anywhere you have internet access. Hit the Worship Now button on Sundays at 9am or 11am Central Standard Time. Our virtual worshippers are just as important to us as those we see every Sunday. Let us know you are joining us for worship by filling out the Connect Card. We'd love to follow up!
Children at Immanuel
JAM activites 10:15am (ages 3-11)
Currently unavailable
We encourage families to worship together...even the youngest of God's children are invited to take part in our worship services.
We know your initial response is to worry about how your child will behave. It is a blessing to have children in worship with us...and there will be no judgment. There are activity bags located in the last pew to use during service.
If at anytime you need to take a break...there is a sitting area just outside the worship space where you can still follow along with worship.
We also offer a special activity time for children after your family has gone up for communion. Ms. Joeveta will meet your children just outside the double doors. They finish about 10:45am.

Share Christ...Build Hope
Immanuel Richton Park is a small, big impact church that has been a part of the Richton Park community since 1852. Our mission at Immanuel is to Share Christ and Build Hope in Richton Park and our surrounding communities. From our food and clothing pantry to Back2School Bash, weekly Bible studies to 4/5 Sunday service projects, our heart is to bless others as God has blessed us.
We are a part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. What does this mean? It means we believe in the Holy Trinity (One God in three Persons), we believe that we by nature are sinful and in need of a savior...and that savior is Jesus Christ. We believe He took our sins as His own, died for us so that we may have eternal life. We believe the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God.
We are not perfect, nor do we claim to be. We know that sin is a constant struggle for us all...and we are thankful for the daily renewal that can be found in Christ. Amen!
